What’s an interesting fact about you?
Have moved across the country 6 times – driving from coast-to-coast each time. And…I’m an uncle 6 times over (4 nieces and 2 nephews….how ‘bout that for symmetry?)

What do you expect the greatest challenge to be in your destination?
Fitting in all of the training…and taking down enough calories during the race! 

Who is a personal hero of yours?
Lance Armstrong and my dad…both for beating back an awful disease. 

What is your biggest fear?
Not being able to take care of myself.

How would you say you lead your life?
Live each day to the fullest and amass as many different experiences as possible – try everything at least once! Also, I make a point not to sweat the small stuff – which, in reality, is most stuff.

What’s your favorite food?
Tough question – but I’d have to say curry (or raspberries…or cheese). Can I pick 3??

What’s a motto you live by?
I have two: “If can, can. If no can, no can.” and “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

Share a life-long dream
To run a small hotel and restaurant on the beach in some tropical location….and live barefoot everyday!

What is your greatest talent?
Solving problems (or even just issues) without stressing out.

What is your favorite movie?
Thomas Crown Affair

What “character” do you identify with you most?
Thomas Crown, obviously…who doesn’t want that life (or at least his toys and island retreats)??

What movie will you watch in preparation for this challenge?
Race Across the Sky (story of the Leadville 100)…haven’t seen it but hear it is very inspiring!
